Return and Refund Policy : 

Thank you for shopping at SmartGadgets139. We appreciate the fact that you like to buy the awesome  products we have to offer. We also want to make sure you have a rewarding experience when Shopping at SmartGadgets139, whether it is at our Retail Store or Online Store. 

We believe you will be very happy with the product you choose to purchase as we go out of our way to ensure that the quality and reliability of our devices will meet your exact needs. We understand, however, that sometimes a product may not be what you expected it to be. In that unlikely event, we invite you to review the following terms related to returning a product.

  • Please note our Refund policy lasts 7 days. The refund policy is only valid for products defective upon receipt of the product , therefore it is important to do due diligence and inspect the product once received.
  • In the case that 7 days have passed we unfortunately cannot process your refund. We will repair your defective device or replace it if it cannot be repaired.
  • A Product will not be deemed as defective if it is not suitable for intended purpose according to the consumer but was advertised correctly on the website; if any damage was caused by inadequate use of the product or any other consumer negligence.
  • Digital software license packages cannot be returned due to it containing the software license details in the email where you will be able to read it upon email Delivery. 
  • The following products are not eligible for return: Digital software licenses, Accessories such as Charger Adapter, cables, Any earphone or wireless earphone devices. Laptop charging cables and Power Adapter.
  • Smart Watches may only be returned or exchanged if it’s in its original, undamaged and unmarked condition including packaging and original invoice. Refund will be issued within 7 working days provided the returned item is in its original condition.

 

Blacklisted Devices:

SmartGadgets139 firmly do not condone stolen devices. As a consequence of us allowing customers to trade in their unwanted upgrade or an unwanted device, we take intensive measures to guarantee our customers that the device we bought are not and will not be reported as stolen or blacklisted.

If it comes to your device being blacklisted then we will promptly replace it with a device that is of same value and have it couriered to you free of charge, however it is the customer’s liability to ensure that the device gets couriered to us if they are in an outlying area from Cape Town.

In the event that your device is blacklisted it is essential that you dispatch the phone in a useable condition.

For a Device to be in ‘Useable Condition’ it needs to be fully functional (except it being blacklisted from the network Provider), the device must be reset to the original factory settings with no passwords and accounts still active on it, no cracks or bad scuffs and with the original box and all accessories. 

Based on how long you have used your device we will either replace your device with a brand New one that is still under Manufacturers warranty or a certified pre-owned device.

 

Courier & Delivery

Since the actual delivery of your order can be impacted by many events beyond SmartGadgets139 control once it leaves our facilities, SmartGadgets139 cannot be held liable for late deliveries. We will, however, work with you to ensure a smooth delivery.

As SmartGadgets139 takes care of the dispatch of the products you purchase on the Online Store , the risk of loss of, or damage to the product shall pass to you when you, or a person designated by you, acquires physical possession of the product. Title in the product shall pass to you when the product is picked up by the carrier from our warehouse. At this point, you will receive the courier tracking number. If there are any issues with delivery, please don’t hesitate to contact SmartGadgets139 to help resolve it.

Wrong product?

In the case that we mistakenly deliver the wrong product or the product is not as described on the Website, please notify us and we will attend to it immediately. The consumer will be responsible to return the product, Once the product has been inspected and the return has been validated, we will deliver the correct product to you as soon as possible; or credit your account with the purchase price of the product within 7 days of the return (or refund you if that is your preference).
